We, at Bin Lahej Electromechanical LLC (BLEM) have always been committed to implementing industry best practices in our approach to the environment. We conduct our activities within the legal and statutory requirements laid down and take regard of local authority waste management plans. Considering the Social, Economic & Environmental factors in the decision making, we ensure proper measures are taken to meet the goal of sustainability in our day to day activities. We prefer sustainable products to be incorporated in all our projects & thereby assist the contractors & consultants in achieving green building standards. As a result of our continuous efforts in this field, we have received Green Building certification in some of our recent projects.
SUSTAINABILITY
We recognize that our activities have an impact on the environment and hence we endeavor to minimize these impacts wherever possible. Through a review of the practices in our head office, plant department and on construction sites we have developed procedures to manage our environmental objectives. These procedures based on the following principles:

- We comply with all relevant legislation and other requirements identified within our procedures.
- We provide a policy that is appropriate to our activities, products and services and their impacts on the environment.
- We endeavor to continually improve our procedures and reduce our impact on the environment.
- We provide appropriate awareness training to our staff, sub-contractors and suppliers, to help them include environmental considerations in all aspects of their work.
We regularly monitor the environmental initiatives taken by the Government and seek to continually improve the effectiveness of our environmental measures.
